It could clog up your hair folicles. It does not cause the baldness, but could make it happen or show more and quicker. If you use gel, or any products that are left in the hair all day..use a clarifying shampoo. It will strip all the buildup that is on the folicle of the hair strands. Be sure to follow with a conditioner. You have opened the hair strand, and it will remain open unless you condition with something to close it back...

Thats depends upon the hair product. If the product has not been tested in laboratory, then there is a risk of baldness. It also depends uopn your hair. I know a lot people whose hair turns white, when they use gel.
