Don't use anything that contains mineral oil or petroleum in it, they clog pores and can hinder growth, try natural oils and water based oil lotions instead.

The 1st answer is partially right. You don't have to use Sulfur 8, but hair products containing Sulfur stimulate hair growth. Personally, I feel Surge is the best product out. You don't have to use the entire product line to see results either. I just use the Surge 14 Hair Revitalizer. I originally bought it to moisturize my hair, but it's been giving me length too.
