Active and inactive ingredients for lotions, pain relievers and hair care products?

active ingredients are ingredients that actually do something to help you such as caffeine in pain relievers

non -active ingredients are just there to help make the product easier to you such as cornstarch in pain relievers, they don't do anything but help the pill stay together.

other non-active ingredients can just add a smell to products like in shampoos and lotions.

non-active ingredients are things like, water, perfume, cornstarch,etc...

active ingredients are things like, alcohol, caffeine, stearic acid, etc...
