What are YOUR thoughts on PANTENE HAIR CARE PRODUCTS?

I was having problems with my hair being too dry and breaking off. I talked to my hairdresser and she asked what I was using and I told her Pantene. She said they told her in beauty school that Pantene was aweful for your hair. They use some sort of glue like compound in it and it dries out your hair. She recommended that I use Mane and Tail shampoo. I've been using it for a few weeks and my hair is shiny and stronger and it's not breaking off like it was. It's the best I've found.

Good but costly. There are better and cheaper things on the market.

I love them! My hair always smells and looks amazing. And Pantene works as well as Paul Mitchell for only a fraction of the price.

pantene sux. it made my hair fall out and my stylist told me it was bad for the hair also.

they are good. i like em because of the shine it leaves. but i read a study that reported that pantene product which include of course panthenol can make the hair glossy but also gummy (yeah like stretchy and gummy like) the problem of this is.... why would you like stretchable hair that breaks. They say in the commercials that it reduces split ends but actually one they are there only cutting them will be a solution. also it does make hair more manageable (only while using the products constantly but once you stop your hair is a mess) but its because in includes silicone... which kinda covers the hair making it glossy manageable but 'addicted' to pantene... and who wants hair as an addict to one shampoo and conditioner .... when after u stop using it hair starts breaking and looses all its shine. well i dont use them i combine my own shampoos (with a little bit of orange juice in it because mines is greasy) and my mothers shampoo (with avocado and keep it in the fridge because hers is way dry) but this helps us both... also i make my own conditioners. i buy vitamin e and d and use olive oil and almond extract and some other secret ingredients!!! :D your better off experiencing yourself... if u want you can contact me.

verly good. it has very good quality. i would get it. it may be expensive, but it is worth it. and its not that expensive!!
