A question for anyone with long, healthy hair...?

what are your hair care routines? what products do you use? what is your hair type (straight, curly, fine, coarse)?

A question for anyone with long, healthy hair...?

My hair now goes "only" to my waist, since I cut off about 2 feet last summer. It's moderately thick but very silky - not at all coarse, and it falls in loose corkscrews if I let it air dry, but gradually straightens over the next day or so. Because it's so long, I don't like to use a lot of products on it. I generally wash it two or three times a week, and I'm picky about the shampoo and conditioner I use. I like J.R. Liggett's Old Fashioned Shampoo Bar (yes, like a bar of soap), and I alternate that with Neutrogena. I always use conditioner, alternating between Nexxus Humectress and Infusium 23. I sometimes use FrizzEase Serum when it's still wet. It seems to stay in smooth curls longer. I don't blow dry, curl, set, mousse, gel, pomade, or anything else. I always sleep with it braided, because I hate waking myself up by getting caught in my hair. I use a wide toothed comb (I have four - in the shower, bathroom, bedroom, and purse) and never brush it because that just makes it fuzzy and poufy.

I shampoo and condition daily. I also brush daily. Just once.

long and curly.

i wash, condition, do deep conditioning every 2 weeks, get trimmed every 6 weeks, comb my hair when wet (never with a brush) and keep blow drying and heating implements to a minimum

A question for anyone with long, healthy hair...?

My hair is very thick and curly but I use products by Motions and by Jamaican Mango and Lime and my hair is very easy to control and styles that are normally difficult are then very easy to do.

I wash my hair every three days with Pantene Relaxed and Natural shampooe/conditioner, wrap it in a silk scarf at night. I wear it naturally kinky, curly (no relaxers or perms). I give myself a hot oil treatment once a week with my own homemade concoction of heated grapeseed and almond oil. Then I wrap my hair in saran wrap for 15-20 minutes. I get the ends snipped every 8 weeks, and I use a product called "Wet n' Wavy" gel and mousse, to keep my hair curly. I also use Ojon to moisturize.

hello! always having a bad hair day? wel know what, i guess i know how u feel coz i've felt the same way before but now, i'm so happy that i have gorgeous hair that i can show off proudly. what i did was got it relaxed/rebonded at a good salon, not just in any cheap salons... but beware coz it doesn't come cheap, so i really saved money for it. and after that i have regular hot oils ( every wk) so my hair won't get dry. i use shampoo especially formulated for chemically treated hair and then i also use deep moisturizing conditioner... brushing it 100 times befor u sleep is also effectiv.. use good quality combs coz cheap ones may cause split ends and more damage to your hair.. hope i heped somehow! goodluck! :)

I have straight thick fine hair. I shampoo and condition every other day. I use Oscar Blandi shampoo and conditioner. I also use Oscar Blandi serum and refresher spray.

My hair is mostly straight but it frizzes. So i wash it every other day with shampoo and conditioner, Let it dry alone if possible and i never use any styling product, i just use Bed Head control freak serum, which gives my hair smoothness and shine.

A question for anyone with long, healthy hair...?

My hair is fine, and naturally wavy but can't really tell due to the length of growth i guess the weight keeps it straight but very easy to curl for special events. I use the cheapest brands on the market because it has less chemicals and waxes in them, which is much better for natural hair. I use a natural brush when brushing and always start at the bottom working my way up. I hardly ever use blow dryers, irons or other heated gizmo's on my hair and let it dry naturally. I eat a healthy diet to keep it shinny and do not use combs. Thanks for asking.

long and straight:

I shampoo and condition my hair everyday but I alternate brands/types. For instance I will use pan teen(moisturizing) every other day and then I will use Herbal Essences the other days. I also do a cholesterol treatment once a month( product that I got at walmart for about $4.00 and it last for a few treatments.) I let the cholesterol soak in my hair for about an hour and then wash it out and my hair is shiner and healthier. I do not use hair spray or gel in my hair because to me it weighs my hair down and it is heavy enough.

I wash a few times a week, always condition. I like Regis Olive Oil Shampoo and conditioner, and Redkin straight balm and Deep Fuel. I have fine wavy hair.

A question for anyone with long, healthy hair...?

I shampoo and condition once a week. I have extremely curly hair, 5 inches past my shoulders. I use Avon's frizz control and dry ends serum daily. Other than that, I Leave it alone!!! LOL.
