I have curly hair that has a mind of its own. It just sticks out all over the place and looks shabby

I am a male. Could you give me any suggestions for some good hair care products that I can use to tame these curls?

Try this, do not brush or comb your hair, use a pick on it. Like the kind girls use on permed hair. (You don't have to tell the guys you got a pick :), brushing will make curly hair fuzz really easy. Also do not pick it when it is dry, always dampen then pick. While your hair is wet put a little mousse in it and scrunch with your fingers. I use Loreal mousse and it works great. Note: a little mousse will go a long way, don't use to much or your hair will get stiff.

Do you have hair like Joan off of girlfriends? If so, you have some gorgeous hair!! Your hair is curly,natural, an just good.You have some good hair!! My six year old sister's hair is like that.Then again, you said that you are a male...... there's nothin' wrong with that. But if you really want to get rid of it, get a perm.
