I recommend John Friedman's Frizz Ease serum and their line of products. Those are available over the counter at your local drug store.

Most hair salons offer chemical straightening, which may alleviate the poofiness. Also, they may have a deep conditioning treatment available to aid with the frizziness.

try a chi iron, or a ceramic plated straight iron....works wonders for the frizz, then you can wear it however you like. Good luck :)

try using redken butter treat for dry and unruly hair,use it weekly,and your hair will improve,otherwise the black hair care products are also really good,coz they are meant abused hair,I would suggest Motions hair shampoo,it worked for me,

I recommend Le Kair Cholesterol conditioning treatment. Its a little tricky to put in, however it will eliminate the frizziness completely.

Go to a local salon and ask for frizz-ease type solutions. They run between $8 and $100 depending on the salon. I use Kiwi Blow-Silk from Artec at the Wal-Mart Salon called Smart-Style. Put a dime sized amount or puddle in the palm of your hand and run through dry hair. Then take a flat iron or big barrel curling iron and straighten your hair into sections. This will achieve a slimmed down non frizz appearance. If you choose to have big curls, use the solution but afterwards curl your hair in dryheat curlers for about 10 minutes and then take down and style as usual.

Straightner..I'd be lost without mine..Does great with the frizz and will flatten your hair so it's not so puffy. Biosilk is great for straightening your hair and it takes out frizz and makes hair shiny. Also get a leave in conditioner that would work well on your hair. I use pantene and it mkaes my hair so soft and healthy.

STYLING PRODUCTS- Flat iron is one but also you can buy a big round brush and while you blow dry your hair do this in sections with the round brush

FINSH the style off with water wax or dry wax by redkin its at ulta as well this will smooth out ends and and your hair will shine!! WHATEVER YOU DO WHILE YOU USE THIS ONLY USE A LITTLE OTHERWISE YOUR HAIR WILL BE GREASY AND WILL LOOK LIKE YOU HAVENT WASHED IT!!!! Hope i helped

Try Pantene's Sleek and Smooth line. I have very curly, VERY frizzy hair and it works wonders on mine. I can actually blow dry it now and not end up looking like Medusa. Good luck!
