I have VERY long, straight hair that tends to be pretty dry and frizzy in the winter, mainly stray hairs on the top of my head. I don't use very many special products when it comes to hair care and was just wondering if anyone can recommend a good one that I don't have to go to a salon for.

silk infusion. its usually about $35 in most salons, or in jcpenneys for $25.

also, the in-shower hydrating cream.

wash normally, perferably biolage hydrting systems, follow with conditoner, then use the chi, rinse after letting it set for about 2 minutes. after the shower, use chi silk protien infusion, just leave it in. it protects your hair from being fried from blow driers and straighteners.

I have the same problem. This is what works for me: At night take a shower using Bath and Body Works brand shampoo and conditioner. Next let it dry naturaly. Yes it will be frizzy. Go to sleep. Wake up. Your hair should be dry first get small sections of your hair. First blow dry it twice. Then straight iron it a couple of times. Move on to all sections. If you want curls, only straighten it once (still blow dry) and use a curling iron. I hope this helps!
