Hair Care Help: What are the best shampoo and conditioners?

Hey everyone! =]

I'm looking into getting a new shampoo/conditioner, and I want to know which is the best. I have previously used Enjoy, which is good but didn't quite satisfy me. My hair is naturally dark blonde, long, slightly wavy, and goes crazy in humidity. It is also slightly dry, and splits easily. I flat-iron daily to get that sleek, smooth look I love, but I'm afraid that it may be damaging my hair. If it matters, I'm 13.

I would love to get some information on the following brands/products, or if you know anything better I would love to hear that as well!

~Pantene Pro-v

~Garnier Fruticus (sp?) Sleek %26amp; Shine

~Bumble %26amp; bumble products (anything good?)

~Organix shampoo %26amp; conditioner

~Redken (don't know much about it, but anything good?)

~Aveda?

~Sunsilk (Which color for me?)

~Tresemme (don't know much about it)

And anything I forgot that's good! I'm very open and price doesn't matter as much as quality =)

Thank you!

For one Pantene is very bad for your hair it leaves a waxy film on your and is one of the reasons why your hair is dry and brakes I use salon products witch is call Biolage and it sound like u need to look for shampoo/conditioner for dry hair and try not to flat iron your hair every day that is frying your hair. Tresemme is also a good brand if u can't afford salon products also for dry hair. Hope this helps.

MATRIX has one called sleek.look It is especially made for people that straighten their hair often. they have heat protector for when you use the Iron and good moisturizing conditioners for dry hair. their hairsprays have humidity control as well as hold. Good Luck..

okay~i use to use pantene and it made my hair gorgeous throughout highschool. but then i switched to biolage after babysitting for a beautiful hairstylist who had gorgeous hair and used it. now i wouldn't go back for anything! i use the hydratherapie line and conditioning balms every now and then. its a little pricey but if you go to jcpenney salon you can get card punches for every 10 dollars you spend to save money and they usually have sales like buy one get one. i have also used garnier fructis sleek and shine and i like it too, esp. the balm

It shoulds like your hair is getting some damage. I'd recommend Joico K-Pak or Brocato Cloud 9 shampoos, conditioners, and treatments. They help repair damage, and help prevent future damage. They will help strengthen your hair up with continued use. Once you think your hair is back to normal health, you can stop using those daily, and just use them a couple times a week. On the other days, you can use another good salon brand shampoo/conditioner for volume, shine, frizz treatment, or whatever.

It's also a good idea to invest in a flat ironing oil spray. They help protect your hair from heat damage. Most are designed to be sprayed on each individual section right before ironing. Joico and GHD both make good ones, along with many other salon brands.
